Anne was born on August 30th. She says she was a "fast food brat" in her early years. Her father was a district manager for Burger King so her family moved around a lot for the first five or six years and then settled down on Long Island. While living in Pittsburgh at age five, she was bitten by the acting bug and appeared in The Sound of Music. She did school plays and community theater growing up. When she was sixteen, she appeared in the musical,Carnival (picture on right). Anne says of herself, "I was definitely a theater geek. A nerd. No drinking, no smoking, no partying."

Her relatives include Captain John Smith -- best known for his settlement of Jamestown and an illicit liasion with Pocahontas -- and Zelda Sayre, wife of author F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Anne lived mostly in Sayville, New York until she was a teenager and then attended Governor Mifflin Senior High School and Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. During college, she appeared in numerous shows including The Pajama GameSnoopy, and How To Succeed In Business Without Trying. After KU, she studied at both the William Esper Studio and with Betty Buckley at the T. Schreiber Studio. She now lives in New Jersey, with her husband, Tony, and her adorable son, Johnny


Anne's had a varity of acting and non-acting jobs. She was a foot model for a while, modeling shoes. She also was a hostess on her uncle's antique sailboat. As an actress she has appeared as a dayplayer on Another World and All My Children and appeared on Late Night with Conan OBrien. She also had a role in the Fox drama New York Undercover. Her movie credits include MGM's feature film My Summer Story, the 1994 sequel to A Christmas Story, and the independent film "Late Watch".

She said in an interview with Soap Opera Digest that her heroes are Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and Carl Sagan.

Anne is best known for her role of Mitzi Matters on the CBS daytime drama As The World Turns.
